Synopsis

Ms. Li lives a single life with her daughter. Bei Bei, passionate about tango after her divorce, and Gloria, a wealthy woman with too much free time, is grappling with her husband’s disappearance. These three distinct women cross paths through Mr. Bai, a charming Shanghainese who claims to be a jack-of-all-trades and teaches painting to the elderly. His friend, Mr. Wu, is witty and has devoted his life to pursuing romance. Several dinners transform Mr. Bai's living room into a lively gathering spot. In the vibrant metropolis of Shanghai, these three women and two men engage in clever banter and humor, painting a colorful picture of urban life.
