Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of Green Lake in Kunming, the film unfolds a family story from the past. After his wife’s passing, the elderly Shuwen seeks to embark on a new emotional chapter in his life—only to find himself in sharp conflict with his daughters. Through these clashes, he comes face to face with his long-standing absence within the family, which moves him to step back into the role of patriarch. As he confronts the buried regrets and quiet sorrows spanning three generations and three households, he begins a tender journey toward reconciliation.
