Synopsis

Lu Shigu, a programmer with a refined taste for food, meets book editor Zhang Jiayi by chance when they end up sharing a lunch table. Bonding over their shared love of discovering good meals, the two gradually become close “food companions.”
As Lu quietly follows a life shaped by his mother’s expectations and Zhang struggles with setbacks in both her career and relationships, their culinary adventures through the city bring comfort, reflection, and an unexpected connection. Through food and companionship, they begin to confront their uncertainties and rediscover what they truly want from life.
